When Prairie Frontier Trails Association got its start, Bret built a website like we were gearing up for downtown Denver: gamified memberships, volunteer portals, donor dashboards, and an event system that could handle reserved seating.

Five years later, we’ve learned something simple: what our community really needs is an easy-to-use site that tells you where the trail is, what’s happening, and how you can help.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be:

  • Removing unused pages and services
  • Simplifying the file and menu structure
  • Refreshing the look of the site to better match our logo and our trail-first focus

You’ll also see some changes in how we talk about membership. Instead of treating membership as a paid, gated status, we’re moving toward a simpler idea: if you walk our trails, volunteer, donate, or sponsor an event, you’re part of the PF Trails community.

Our goal is to make the site:

  • Easier to navigate
  • Clearer about what we do
  • More straightforward about how you can support the work

We invite you to watch, read, and follow along as the changes roll out. If you spot something confusing—or have ideas about what you’d like to see—please reach out and let us know. This is your trail organization, and we want the website to reflect that.
