You walk them.
You jog them.
You pedal on them.
You push strollers along them.
We’re looking for Plainville’s most popular walking/jogging and bicycling routes!
From the most popular routes submitted, one name will be drawn.
The winner in each category will have that route named after them!

You’ve got until midnight Sunday, September 4, 2022 so be thoughtful about your entry.

We need your name, address, phone number, and email address. We need a route: for either walking/jogging or for bicycling. It can be a loop, or it can be an out-and-back. It needs to indicate a starting point, and then turn-by-turn directions. It needs to be clear, and unambiguous. It may extend into the county, but some part of it (preferably a substantial part) must be in Plainville. And, we need a reason: tell us why you like your route!

Only one route (either walk/hike or bike) per submission, and only one submission for each per person – but you can submit one of each. And, you need to actually walk/hike/ride the route often: it should be your favorite!

If multiple entries are received from the same person in the same category, we will keep ONE in each category — we decide which. If entries are missing required info, we may toss it. If several routes are nearly identical (such as the same loop with different starting places) we may combine them all into one route. If the winner is a minor, we’ll need a release to use their name.

You may send your route with the required info to “info@pftrails.org” or to P.O. Box 141, Plainville, KS 67663.

We plan to mark the named routes with signs (as funds are available) as well as publish them in appropriate directories online.

Consider joining Prairie Frontier Trails Association or making a donation when submitting… just sayin’.
