Members of the Prairie Frontier Trails Association board of directors are elected by the membership at the annual meeting each autumn. They serve for up to three two-year terms. Officers are selected by the board at the first meeting each year. The executive director is appointed by the board and serves at their pleasure. Other staff positions are appointed by the executive director. All positions are volunteer; the leadership team serves without pay.
Mary Collins
President
Mary is a creative individual with a talent for hospitality and a passion for her community. She prefers to work in the background taking on all manner of tasks, and is learning to embrace the limelight of PFTrails leadership. Mary enjoys getting outdoors with her husband Justin and her dogs, Stewie and Winston.
Randy Prater
Vice President
Randy brings leadership experience from the region’s oil and gas industry. He is looking forward to new trails in Plainville for his daily walks.
Jerry Wilson
Treasurer
Jerry is an avid outdoorsman.
Cynthia Steeples
Secretary
Cynthia and her husband are ranchers from Palco. As a potential adjacent-landowner, she became involved with Prairie Frontier Trails to learn more about trails. She is now convinced of the value of trails to the community. Past-treasurer.
Bret Greenwood
Executive Director
Bret helped organize Prairie Frontier Trails when, after moving to Plainville in 2014, he couldn’t find convenient access to the kind of trails he enjoyed riding in the eastern half of Kansas. He has served on multiple boards, and is using that experience to expand PFTrails beyond Plainville and across Kansas. He also enjoys hiking and canoeing.
